Student teams will deliver 10-minute business pitches to our esteemed panel of alumni judges. While they are deliberating on their selected winners, the audience will vote for their favorite idea that will receive $500 in additional funding!

Judge Profiles

Ran Reske ‘01

Ran focuses on early to late-stage venture investments across a wide range of sectors at NVP, with an emphasis on consumer Internet and mobile. Before joining NVP, Ran was a senior analyst in the M&A division at Amdocs. Prior to Amdocs, Ran was an associate at Pamplona Capital, an emerging markets hedge fund, where he evaluated investment opportunities and conducted detailed macro research analysis on global economies.

Prior to Pamplona Capital, Ran was an analyst in the Investment Banking Division of Citigroup in Israel, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and strategic advisory assignments for a variety of notable companies and transactions including M-Systems’ $1.3 billion acquisition by Sandisk and Cellcom’s $400 million IPO.

Ran holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics and business administration, and a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania.

Marc Lisi ‘08

Marc has spent his entire career in the eClinical technologies space, with most of that time focused in the area of IRT. Having spent years on the client services side, Marc has worked with 7 of the top 10 pharmaceutical companies and 6 of the top 7 CROs to design, implement, and maintain IRT solutions across a variety of therapeutic areas. As a Co-founder and Director of Business Development at Suvoda, Marc uses his IRT subject matter expertise to provide creative solutions to customers’ problems, all while growing Suvoda’s business globally. Marc enjoys creating long-lasting relationships with customers and colleagues and loves brokering introductions within his network. Having graduated from Lafayette College with a degree in biochemistry and minor in music.

Jaime Getto ‘13

Jaime is an entrepreneur and marketing leader. She currently runs Nowaday, a travel experience startup that she co-founded and serves as Head of Communications for the COVID-19 rapid-response nonprofit, Project N95. Formerly, she was the Director of Marketing for HR tech company, Vettery (acquired for $100MM by The Adecco Group), Founder of The New L, and has served as an Advisor for several startups, including Verst (acquired by Dropbox).
