Akeena Hall ’26 Excels in Internship at Thread Bioscience, Inc.
Akeena worked on the software for a device that tracks the flow of patient fluids, with her primary tasks including extracting the data collected by the device and displaying it on an app. A Computer Science and Africana Studies double major, Akeena greatly valued the learning opportunities and accessibility that Thread Bioscience, Inc. offered: his experience as a whole helped me figure out what I was interested in with respect to software engineering as well as allowed me to work in a flat hierarchy company where you’re able to interact with the CEO and future business plans.”
The collaboration was so successful that Akeena will continue to work with Thread Bioscience, Inc. during this semester in a consulting role.
