I was drawn to the DYER Fellowship because I wanted to surround myself with ambitious, industrious, and talented people. I believe that you are who you surround yourself with. Participants in this program have a distinct advantage to push each other and build around one another, capitalizing off of each other’s unique skills and experiences. Equally as important, DYER is just as much “lab contained” as it is real-world application. Real businesses are supported by a safety net of professional experience and funding, allowing for risk taking and guidance nearly impossible to replicate in most entrepreneurial environments. As I continue to grow my own business and hone my craft, the guidance, company, and resources of the Dyer Center will supercharge my ambitions and open up more avenues for learning, community, and success.
