Founder’s Table with Ashley Russo

Russo founded ASR Media, an Emmy award-winning integrated media production and communications company based in the Lehigh Valley. She shared her founding journey with attendees, offering all sorts of insights and lessons learned along her entrepreneurial journey, and responded to the wide ranging questions students had. A recurring element in her experience was prioritizing people; focusing on people and building positive relationships was not only core to her success with customers, but also the compass with which she navigates interacting with her team. 

Additionally, her tenacity and optimism were a central component of her attitude, as she consistently turned challenges and stumbling blocks into lessons learned and opportunities to move forward. 

A final takeaway had to do with a student question regarding time management. Russo emphasized the importance of first making time for what truly matters, such as self-care and family time, and scheduling outward from those priorities.
