I have been told many times throughout my life that it’s not always about what you know or what you’re good at so much as who you know. That is why I believe that the opportunity presented by the DYER Fellowship Program is perfect in that it exposes me to new people who are there to help me grow and open doors for me, while also being a program that gives me a sort of family away from home who I know I can count on.
