Hometown:  Edison, NJ

As a kid, I always found myself making quick fixes around my home; thus, I started to realize that I enjoyed creating and fixing things. I wanted to leave my environment better than I found it. As I grew older, this so-called hobby continued, but I struggled to find a useful place for it. But during the pandemic, my newfound enjoyment of reading current events and news articles prompted me to learn what entrepreneurship meant. More than ever, it’s important that our generation recognizes that we all have an entrepreneurial mindset—someone who is a problem solver and a risk-taker. As someone who cares about my community and those who lack a voice, I hope to use my creative and persistent mindset to initiate solutions. As a DYER Fellow, I look forward to harnessing the tools and resources provided for me to create and continue change in the world and inspire others to find their creative voice.
