I firmly believe that one strong, good idea has the power to drive lasting and meaningful social change. Unfortunately, ideas alone will not suffice without a supportive and passionate team that is committed to visualizing and actualizing those ideas. I am excited by the Dyer Center’s cohort model which reinforces the principles of teamwork and “strength sharing” to turn strong ideas into real life products and programs that make a difference. Specifically, human connections, in the form of healthy relationships, fascinate and excite me! Lafayette’s Dyer Center can help me pursue this fascination. My primary goal: Experiment with the concept of “branding kindness” in that complicated way that only Americans understand in order to bolster a “Kindness Movement” that creates positive waves of change in the Easton community and beyond. With the help of Dyer Center leaders, mentors, and fellows, I look forward to seeing what we can achieve together.
