What drew me to the DYER Fellowship was its focus on using innovation and entrepreneurship to create meaningful social impact. Through my experiences with Appalachia Service Project, I have seen how non profits with strong missions can be limited by a lack of strategy and operational support. DYER offers a unique opportunity to develop the skills and collaborative mindset needed to turn ideas into sustainable solutions for non profits. I was also inspired by my brother’s experience as a DYER Fellow and the impact he was able to make through the program. I am excited to work alongside other Lafayette students who are committed to creating positive change through entrepreneurship!
