What drew me to the DYER Fellowship is its emphasis on creating meaningful, lasting impact. Growing up, I watched my grandfather struggle to afford the insulin he needs to manage Type 1 diabetes, often having to choose between medication and other necessities. That experience inspired my interest in developing more accessible and effective medical treatments. The DYER Fellowship stands out because it goes beyond teaching entrepreneurial skills; it empowers students to turn ideas into solutions that improve lives. I am excited by the opportunity to learn from mentors, collaborate with driven peers, and develop the leadership, innovation, and problem-solving skills needed to create sustainable change.
